Gastroenterology Cases

Vomiting and diarrhoea is only a symptom of the disease. There are many causes of diarrhoeas: viruses, bacteria, protozoa, worms, inflammatory conditions and food intolerance, to mention a few. Pets especially the young dehydrate very quickly and therefore it can be life-threatening. Any gastrointestinal upsets lasting more than 24 hours need to be seen to by a vet immediately.
